For me, being able to release my thoughts is a really, really, really good thing. Whether that be digressing and unloading to friends or writing my thoughts down, I fall asleep MUCH faster when I don't hold my million thoughts in my head.
For me, this blog has been a great outlet for that. I love blogging! I love the sense of community, I love compiling my thoughts into comprehendible sentences, and I love the responses I get back from friends--and even strangers, too!
But lately my thoughts have been all over the place, what with struggles that I'm not too comfortable sharing on the Internet quite yet, to friends and school stuff, to boys (get out your cootie shots! GASP!). And over break I gifted myself with a nice journal that has lately been the keeper of my thoughts. And it has been so good! How therapeutic it is to write down all my messy and incomprehensible (at times) thoughts! I sleep so much better and have realized so many different things about life, myself, and God just from simply writing down my thoughts. It's free therapy, friends! I really, truly recommend it to everyone!
My confession: I have found an absolutely incredible way to release all my free-flowing thoughts. It makes me feel good knowing that now if I do want to blog about any of these hot-topic issues that I can do so after compiling and thinking through how and what I want to say!
I need to start journaling too. You are a great role model even for old people! Love you to the moon and back! Mom
