So, uh, it's been a little quiet over here, huh? I've been quite busy with working and packing for school. And, ta-da! Last night I got moved into school! I moved in two weeks early for a job training. Campus is so quiet and calm. And my dorm is even more so deathly quiet. I feel like I'm in a scary movie and something is going to pop out at me! Gah! Also, this photo above...aren't the clouds a dream boat?! Yeah, I thought so, too.
The past few weeks have gone by with a blur. But here are some pictures to prove I didn't fall off the face of the Earth!
^We got the chance to go tubing this past weekend before I left. I haven't been in over four years, so that first picture shows my confidence level in doing it. I have this unexplainable fear of (unclear) bodies of water. And this lake is not the cleanest or clearest, so yeah, I was a little terrified of falling off the tube and drowning in algae and bacteria and fish eating my remains (note: I did not fall off the tube. Partially because I sternly told Tay's Dad not to throw us off and partially because I had an iron grip on that tube).
^So our puppy is no longer a puppy. I don't know how it happened, but Mr. Benson is huge now! I already miss his cuteness and annoying-ness and his snuggles. Next time I see him he will probably be just about a giant!
Also, I have no pictures to go along with this, but I shadowed a law firm downtown last week. I was really excited to go and shadow a paralegal and a legal assistant. I didn't get the tingly, "oh-yes-this-is-what-I'm-supposed-to-do-with-my-life" feeling I was hoping, but I haven't completely crossed it off the list. We'll see where next the wind blows.
---Also, I happened across this blog just a few minutes before writing this post and it about broke my heart. I pray that you will keep this beautiful family in your prayers. No family should have to go through something like this. I'll be keeping sweet Phoebe in my prayers.
Wow, this was a lot longer than I expected. Maybe it will teach me not to go so long without posting. Thanks for reading to the bottom (if you did).
My confession: I don't necessarily have one for this post? I confess that I have been super busy this past month and promise to make an effort to update this little corner of the Internet world more frequently.
