my weakness

Bad day?  Buy shoes.  Good day?  Buy shoes.  Do well on a test?  Buy shoes.  Paycheck?  Buy shoes.  Shoe sale?  You betcha I'm buying shoes.  

I have more shoes than I could ever count and not enough feet to wear them all.  It isn't even like I vary what shoes I wear everyday.  For each season I have my handful of favorites and go-to's.  I also never throw or give away my shoes.  What if one day I need a pair of sparkly, yellow flats?  Then what will I do?  Or neon green flats? Hmm?  No, there is no tossing of shoes here.  Maybe one day some sense will got knocked into me and I'll stop buying so many superfluous amounts of shoes.  But for now, I think I'll stick with what I know.

Here I am putting beauty above pain.  Thus the mittens on my feet to protect them from the frigid cold and wind. I like to call it creativity, not stupidity. 

My confession: I have a huge weakness for buying more shoes than necessary.
